Tiger Woods. Roger Federer. John Moore. These three names belong together because they are all people chosen to represent the flagship brand of the largest consumer products company in the world in global TV advertisements. Gillette is the crowning jewel of advertising kings, and these three people are truly The Best a Man Can Get.

John Moore has reached the very top of two distinct sub sectors of the music industry. In addition to Gillette, brands such as Chrysler, Verizon and Dr. Pepper have featured his voice in national jingles. In the midst of this career, he also served as the leader, selector, and trainer of musicians in the mobile media group at the 2nd largest record company in the world, Sony Music. Here, productions made by his hands reached billions of ears worldwide. Other hallmarks of his pioneering are the first digital audio ringtone, and the first Sprint Certified Platinum ringtone, Beyonce's Crazy In Love.

Prior to Sony, John worked in various capacities at the top jingle house Crushing Music under the wing of the bubble gum music king Joey Levine. Here he spent years on both sides of the studio glass, working with countless iconic musicians like Cindy Lauper, Celia Cruz, Will Lee and Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live).

To prepare for this career, John completed an honors thesis in songwriting and performance under the guidance of pianist Neely Bruce at Wesleyan University. His training was supplemented by jazz guitar study with Tony Lombardozzi and Jay Hoggard, classical guitar study with Sue Burkhart, and Italian opera study with Wayne Rivera. Other experiences here include playing 1st violin in the university orchestra and co-starring in a production of Molly's Dream with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the pulitzer prize winning author of the 4 time Tony Award winning musical In the Heights.

John is a rare combination of academic insight and practical skills. His highly trained ears allow him to listen to his students and adapt his teaching style to suit their precise needs. His leadership experience has honed his ability to manage expectations and unlock the latent motivation.
